About the competition
With the Veszprém-Balaton European Sport Region 2026 application, we have set ourselves the goal build a region rich in physical activity and health awareness. We would like everyday physical activity to be accessible to everyone, regardless of age, social status, or physical ability. We believe that sport brings people together, creates a sense of community and contributes to the quality of life in the region. Veszprém-Balaton European Region of Sport 2026 application
Veszprém, building on the regional cooperation established during the VEB2023 EKF program, is applying for the European Capital of Sport 2026 title, with the aim of promoting sport as a language of culture.for 2026, with the aim of continuing community building through sport after the success of its cultural program. The goal is to make a healthy, active lifestyle accessible to everyone.
