Introduction
The Veszprém Sports Swimming Pool – National Olympic Center for Swimming and Water Polo has been operating since 2021, serving as one of Hungary’s most modern aquatic sports facilities for those interested in swimming, water polo, and wellness.
The two-level complex includes a competition pool, training pool, teaching pool, jacuzzi, children’s pool, and plunge pool, along with a gym and fitness room. The sauna area offers infrared saunas, Finnish saunas, a steam cabin, and an ice machine to support regeneration.
The facility is suitable not only for sports but also for recreation and community events, placing both aquatic sports and physical-mental rejuvenation at the center.
Location & Accessibility
The Veszprém Sports Swimming Pool is located on the eastern edge of the city, along Külső-Kádártai Road. The facility is easily accessible by car and has its own parking lot. It can also be reached directly by bus 23U, although during events the bus does not stop at the swimming pool. In such cases, the nearest alternative is the TESCO bus stop, from which the facility is about a 10–15 minute walk.
