Olaszfalu

Olaszfalu, a village with Árpád-era roots, is located in a picturesque setting, at an average altitude of 400 meters above sea level, with karstic landforms and abundant springs, which, due to the characteristics of the Bakony, create a cooler and rainier microclimate even in summer. Eperjes geological park is a geological rarity, where rocks from all three periods of the Mesozoic era can be found together. The village's Country Museum (Kövesi‑ház), which was handed over in 2022, preserves the memories of everyday life in the area with furniture and everyday objects collected by the locals. Among the religious and natural sites, Szentháromság Church and Four Wells Spring on Vüllő Hill can also be visited, complementing the network of springs and lookout points in the Bakony Hills. The identity of the settlement is strengthened by the recurring Bakony Potato Harvest and Arts Festival, which fills the venue with gastronomic and community programs.

Olaszfalu can be reached from Route 82, not far from Zirc, via a short connecting road. Bus service is typically available from Zirc and Veszprém.
