Nothing proves this better than the fact that in 2013, they decided to set the bar high and, with the participation of 2,405 people, broke the world record for the most people to complete a 12-hour 100-meter relay race. We want to surpass this commendable achievement on March 21, proving that Veszprém and its region are also capable of creating exemplary community sporting achievements on a global scale, Galileo or no Galileo.

Introduction
Megyeház Square in Veszprém is located in the southern part of the city center, between Szabadság Square and Komakút Square. A prominent public artwork in the area is the memorial to Árpád Brusznyai, created by Miklós Melocco. The square is also home to County Hall and Csermák Antal Elementary School of Music.
Location & Accessibility
There is a local bus stop on the square, but only buses going in the direction of Egyetem Street stop there, as traffic from Szabadság Square is one-way. For other directions, get off at Komakút Square or Veszprém Petőfi Theater, which are a short walk away. It is about 10 minutes from the bus station on foot.
