Due to its proximity to Budapest, Bercsényi Beach in Balatonakarattya is an ideal choice for those arriving from the capital, as it is about an hour's drive by car and a 15-minute walk from the nearest bus and train stations.

The beach is Balatonakarattya's largest, shady, well-kept central beach with an area of nearly 2.5 hectares, with a 300-meter-long concrete shore and 6 non-slip beach steps.

The trees on the beach provide plenty of shade, but there are also sunny areas. The green areas and trees are well maintained.

There are three playgrounds for children on the beach, there is a barrier-free toilet block for people with reduced mobility, and a baby-mother and baby-father room has been designed with children in mind. There are 8 catering units, 1 rental unit and 1 water adventure park on the beach.
