Mill Fates along the Séd – with a visit to a bakery

Learn about the history of Veszprém's mills and taste artisan baked goods on a special gastronomic tour.

🌾 The "Mill Fates along the Séd" gastro tour presents the history of the former mills of Veszprém and the world of Derce artisan bakery. Participants will search for traces of eight mills along the bends of the stream, entering two buildings and stopping at a bakery, where a machine demonstration and product tasting await them.

✨ During the walk, they talk about the daily life of a miller, the milling process, the secrets of the millstone, as well as the geological features of Betekints Valley and the history of dolomite formation.

📍 Meeting point: Hotel Historia Malomkert entrance from the parking lot (15 Fenyves utca)

🗺 Route: Hotel Historia Malomkert → Derce bakery → Margit Ruins → Monasteries and Gardens Park
