The screening roadshow in Veszprém concludes with Olympic champions
The first stage of the Region of Sport's health screening roadshow is coming to an end. On Friday, February 20, in Veszprém, in the Great Hall of the University of Pannonia, we welcome all those who value disease prevention and would like to measure their strength against our country's sports legends.
Sports and health go hand in hand. To stay active and reach your goals — whether in recreational sports or a professional career — it’s essential to understand the condition of your body. After previous 11 stops, it is now in our county seat where residents can get a free and quick picture of their health indicators.
Program and participation information
Between 10:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. in the Great Hall of the University of Pannon, NNGYK experts will be waiting for visitors with a number of professional tests. Participation is completely free of charge, and the range of services on offer is exceptionally wide:
- Risk assessment and counseling
- PSA screening (especially important for men!)
- Bone density measurement
- InBody test: detailed body composition analysis (muscle-fat ratio, hydration)
- Oral and vision examination
- BEMER physical therapy
In addition, at 11:30 a.m. there will be a sports motivation presentation, as has been customary at previous venues, where we will welcome not one, but three Olympic icons on stage. During the discussion, we will gain insight into the secrets of success and learn how a sporting mentality can help us overcome everyday difficulties.
Our guests will be:
- Kristóf Rasovszky, Olympic champion open water swimmer
- Balázs Kiss, Olympic champion hammer thrower
- Attila Czene, Olympic champion swimmer
We welcome everyone to join us in working together for our health during the Year of Sport!
