Health screening roadshow kicks off in the European Region of Sports
One of the most important missions of Veszprém-Balaton European Region of Sports 2026 year is to build a healthier, more conscious, and more cohesive community through the joy of movement. We believe that sport is not only about performance, but is also the basis of our quality of life. However, in order to move safely and happily, we need to know the signals our body sends us.
That is why we are launching our 12-stop health program series on January 22, where we will be serving the residents of the region with the help of state-of-the-art equipment and expert attention.
The aim of the program series is to assess general health status and identify risk factors at an early stage. In addition to the screenings, well-known athletes and Olympians will give motivational presentations at each locationon how sport has helped them overcome difficulties and how they find inspiration in everyday life.
Free screening available at the following locations:
- Personalized risk assessment: Advice on lifestyle and general health.
- Blood pressure measurement
- PSA screening: An important prostate-specific test for men.
- Bone density measurement: For the prevention of osteoporosis.
- InBody test: A professional body composition analysis (muscle-fat ratio, hydration).
- Oral screening: For the early detection of cancerous diseases.
Registration will take place at all locations on that day between 10:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m.
