Hungarian Open Orienteering Sprint Championship and Sprint Relay Championship 2025 running

Saturday, 20 September 2025 This year, Veszprémi Honvéd SE is organizing the Hungarian Open Orienteering Sprint Championship and Sprint Relay Championship 2025. On September 20, the individual qualification rounds will take place in the morning, followed by the finals in the afternoon. The relay race will be held the next day.

Introduction

The Veszprém Honvéd Sports Club looks back on more than half a century of history:Founded in 1964, this amateur sports club is a key player in Veszprém's sporting life. The club's goal is to provide organized sports opportunities for the city's residents, those serving in the local garrison, and young people from the surrounding area, with a special emphasis on improving physical fitness and promoting a healthy lifestyle. .

One of the most successful and active sections of the sports club is track and field, in which the club's competitors regularly participate in domestic and international competitions, school Olympics, national championships and selected events. Veszprém Honvéd SE also organizes traditional competitions such as the Honvéd Cross and theHonvéd Cup, which attract hundreds of athletes to the Bakony Mountains every year.
In addition to orienteering, the club currently has tennis, mini soccer, and petanque sections.
