SR Sport - Slalom Racing Recreational Sports Association

Szlalom Racing Recreational Sports Association, or SR Sport for short, is a community motorsports association dedicated to promoting slalom racing and amateur motorsports in Hungary. The organization’s goal is to make motorsports, conducted under safe and regulated conditions, accessible to everyone— whether they are novice racers, hobby drivers, or young people interested in technical sports.

For more than a decade, the association’s members have been competing in various events, excelling primarily in motorsports: go-karting, off-road, rally, slalom, and drift. In addition to their racers, the club’s organizers and sports officials are also highly active.  

The club has been regularly organizing its own slalom competitions since 2007, as well as training days, technical demonstrations, and community gatherings, where participants can not only test their skills but also learn from one another. 

• Organization of slalom competitions in amateur and hobby categories;
• Training days, technical advice, vehicle preparation;
• Community programs, car meets, award ceremonies;
• Promoting a culture of safety in sports and improving knowledge of regulations;
• Collaboration with motorsports organizations, tracks, and local governments.

The races typically take place on automobile tracks, closed-off public areas, or technical sports venues.
