SMASH Beach Volleyball Championship

SMASH Beach Volleyball Championship is a dynamic summer sports series that brings the excitement of beach volleyball to the shores of Lake Balaton and other popular beach destinations in Hungary. The organizers aim to make the sport accessible to everyone – from amateur players and professional duos to enthusiastic spectators.

After a hiatus of several years, the beach volleyball championship was relaunched in 2025 with Balatonalmádi as its home base. In addition to the matches, a DJ keeps the crowd entertained, and of course, beachgoers can enjoy swimming and sunbathing as well.

The championship consists of multiple rounds at different venues, offering not only competitive matches in the sand but also a vibrant summer atmosphere with music, community, and fun. The SMASH team emphasizes fair play, inclusivity, and high-quality event organization.
