Introduction
The National Public Health and Pharmaceutical Centre (NNGYK) was established in August 2023 to combine public health and pharmaceutical activities, and to represent public health protection in a unified and effective manner. Operating nationwide, the organisation plays a pivotal role in public health, epidemic control, health promotion, drug supervision, and health administration.
The NNGYK monitors and analyses the health status of the population and actively participates in the development of prevention, screening, vaccination and healthcare. Its responsibilities include monitoring pharmacy operations, overseeing the supply of medicines, and registering rare diseases and congenital disorders.
