Magyar Szabadidősport Szövetség (MASPORT)
Introduction
Magyar Szabadidősport Szövetség (Hungarian Leisure Sports Association, MASPORT) was founded in December 1989 in the new legal environment following the change of regime, and has since been one of the key players in domestic recreational sports. Its activities are aimed at encouraging the population to exercise, expanding sporting opportunities, and developing the culture of recreational sports. Its network covers the entire country, with several hundred member organizations and approximately 170,000 athletes.

Availability & Operation
The Association's headquarters is located in Budapest, in the Hungarian House of Sport. It operates nationwide, with programs covering every county, as well as several major cities and sports organizations. Through local sports clubs, it provides a wide range of activities, supporting regular exercise among the population and the development of community sports.
