Introduction

The Hungarian Paralympic Committee (MPB)(MPB) is the highest representative body for parasport in Hungary, working to ensure that athletes with disabilities have equal opportunities, and to ensure that they have equal opportunities to compete and be represented at international level. The committee was established in 1997 with the aim of bringing together national associations involved in parasport and coordinating the Hungarian Paralympic movement.

The MPB not only organizes participation in the Paralympic Games, but also plays an active role in the training of athletes, operating a classification system, providing support for rehabilitation and raising awareness. The committee's goal is for parasport not to be a separate world, but an integral part of Hungarian sports with role models, successes, and a sense of community.
