
Hungarian Olympic Academy


Introduction
The Hungarian Olympic Academy (MOA) is the professional and cultural background institution of the Hungarian Olympic Committee, which was established in 1985 with the aim of nurturing and passing on the Olympic spirit and the traditions of the Hungarian sports movement. The MOA is the 27th national Olympic academy in the world and has been an active member of the international Olympic community ever since.
The academy's activities include Olympic education, sports history research, dissemination of knowledge, and community building. Its programs are aimed at different age groups, including students, teachers, athletes and interested members of the public – to familiarize them with the values of Olympism: fair competition, perseverance, international cooperation, and personal development through sport.
