Magyar Mid-Am Golf Sportegyesület
Introduction
The Hungarian Mid-Am Golf Association is a sports community that offers competitive opportunities, professional support, and community experiences for amateur golfers over the age of 30. The objective of the "Mid-Am" category is to facilitate the active participation in golf for individuals who have surpassed the junior age group yet retain a fervent enthusiasm for the sport.
A decade ago, a small group of dedicated players had a vision – and now we find ourselves in a position where the golf movement has gained international recognition, is strong and cohesive, and is growing and expanding year after year.
The association is responsible for the organization of competitions, championships and meetings. These events provide participants with the opportunity to evaluate their athletic performance, cultivate relationships, exchange experiences and become integrated into a supportive community. The organization's objective is to elevate golf from its status as a sport reserved for elites to a form of exercise that is both accessible and enjoyable to all segments of the Hungarian population, and to encourage its participation as a lifelong pursuit.
