Hungarian Society of Cardiologists

The Hungarian Society of Cardiologists (MKT) is the national professional organization of the Hungarian cardiology profession, whose goal is thepreventing, treating and researching cardiovascular diseases, as well as continuously improving the standard of cardiological care. The members of the society include specialists, researchers, specialists and medical students who are committed to the fight against heart disease.

The MKT organizes professional forums, conferences, training courses, and research collaborations, and is also actively involved in public education, for example through the Szívderítő (Heart Beater) educational platform. The company cooperates with domestic and international organizations, including the European Society of Cardiology (ESC).
