Introduction
Balatonfűzfőért Alapítvány (Foundation for Balatonfűzfő) was founded in 1993 by the Municipality of Balatonfűzfő to support the goals outlined in its Deed of Foundation.
The foundation was established to support and promote the development of Balatonfűzfő into a town that holds the place it deserves among the settlements of Hungary, the Central Transdanubian region, and the Balaton area—based on its natural features, its location in a designated resort area, its industrial and residential infrastructure, and its development potential.
The foundation supports the creation and development of a commercial and service network in Balatonfűzfő, a lakeside town, that meets both local and tourism-related needs. It encourages the establishment and improvement of aesthetically pleasing business headquarters, premises, and shops that fit into the landscape and environment, and through these efforts, aims to promote the employment of disadvantaged groups in the labor market.
Within the framework defined by its Deed of Foundation, the foundation also supports individual entrepreneurs, partnerships without legal personality, and legal entities that have a permanent residence, registered office, or operational site in Balatonfűzfő.
