Balatonakarattya Bathing Association

The Association was founded in 1928 and operated continuously until 1948, when it was dissolved by decree. The Association, reestablished in 1989, strives to follow and preserve the traditions of its illustrious predecessors in every way possible.

• Development and beautification of Balatonakarattya, protection of its environment and cleanliness;
• Improving the quality of life of Balatonakarattya residents and vacationers (organizing and hosting cultural and sporting events);
• Representing and protecting the interests of residents and landowners through joint efforts.

• The organization operates in the spa area of Balatonakarattya, with special regard to the community of holiday home owners and permanent residents.
• The association is open to anyone who identifies with its goals and wishes to actively participate in community life.
• The Association does not engage in direct political activities, its organization is independent of political parties, and it does not provide financial support to them.
• The Association carries out activities that are recognized as being in the public interest and is therefore eligible to receive 1% of personal income tax.
