Stars of Little Importance

A pair of siblings, Bianka and Milán live in Budapest, but after many years, they return to the countryside for Christmas to reconnect with their childhood friends and first loves. They party. They drink a lot. Nothing is the way it used to be.  They have to face the question: is this how they imagined their lives would be when they were teenagers?

Through the eyes of the two siblings, the fates of people in rural Hungary unfold in Renátó Olasz’s first film, produced in collaboration with Béla Tarr.
