Balatonfűzfő

Balatonfűzfő is located in the northeastern corner of Lake Balaton. The Fűzfőgyártelep district has a strong industrial heritage. The town’s tourism offer is complemented by sports facilities, beaches, hiking spots, and cultural institutions.

Visitors can enjoy a bobsled track, swimming pool, adventure park, and a network of bike paths, providing a variety of recreational options.

Balatonfűzfő is accessible by car via Route 71 (or 710) from the M7 motorway, or via Route 72 from Main Route 8. The town’s train station is located near the lakeshore, and the main tourist sites can be reached on foot within 10–20 minutes. Several bus stops operate within the town, including stops for long-distance routes.
