Thursday, 24 July 2025 Those who go swimming or boating in the eastern basin of Lake Balaton on the last weekend of July will be treated to a spectacular parade, as this is when the 14th Zöldszalag Regatta takes place. This traditional competition for electric boats is a playful contest, a family event and a small fleet parade all in one – and it is the only boat race where time spent partying can be deducted from the race time.
