Ride into the Green! A bike tour through the Bakony Hills, with views and special stops!
Overview
The HorizontON bike tour is part of the 'Ride into the Green!' tour series, organized by HATESZ. The aim of the program is to introduce the new sections of the Horizon tour route, during which participants explore the natural treasures of the Bakony region together, without any performance requirements. At the end of the tour, there will be an opportunitiy to visit the Várbörtön (Castle Dungeon) in Veszprém for a one-time discounted admission of 1,000 HUF!
Program and participation information
📌Departure: 10:00 a.m. – Bakonybél, Pikoló Restaurant (or 8:30 a.m. Herend, bike station)
🎯 Arrival: 4:30 p.m. – Veszprém, Ruttner House
🏰 Optional walk in Várbörtön with discounted admission (+1 hour duration)
🚵♂️ Distance: 45 km (from Bakonybél) | Difficulty: medium | Off-road tires recommended
💧 Water supply: Bakonybél, Csehbánya, Herend
