This year, the world of TihanySport is expanding with a new, exciting sports offering!
An old dream of ours is coming true: SUP is joining our lineup!

With SUP, a whole new world of possibilities is opening up before us. New perspectives, new experiences, a new sense of freedom. And believe us: we move just as comfortably on the water as we do on land.

But this time, the goal isn’t speed.
It isn’t time.
It isn’t performance.
It’s experiencing Lake Balaton 100% . 💙

When the sun is no longer scorching and you’re approaching the horizon, that’s when you’ll truly realize what a special place you’re in.
On the water.
In silence.
On a board.
Alone with yourself.

It’s no coincidence that this program is one of the most memorable experiences of a summer at Lake Balaton.

🕒 Meeting time: Sajkod Beach at 6:00 PM
⏳ Duration: Approx. 2 hours
🛶 Distance and difficulty: Approx. 4–6 km

If you’d like SUP lessons, let us know in advance, and we’ll help you get comfortable with this fantastic sport—whether a few days or just a few hours before the program starts.
(Currently, we only have 4 SUPs available, so we can only guarantee spots on a first-come, first-served basis.)

The event is part of the Veszprém–Balaton European Region of Sport 2026 program series.

The most important water traffic rules to follow:
🚩 You must be at least 14 years old to operate water sports equipment and boats independently,
🚩 Water sports equipment and boats may travel no more than 1,500 meters from the shore if there is no storm warning
🚩 It is always mandatory to wear a life jacket on water sports equipment; on boats, you do not have to wear it, but you must have it on board.

The event will be canceled in the event of a Level 2 storm warning.
