SUP Adventure on the Shores of Tihany 🌅🛶

This year, the world of TihanySport is expanding with a new, exciting sport.

A long-held dream of ours is coming true: SUP is joining our lineup.

SUP opens up entirely new dimensions for us. New perspectives, new experiences, a new sense of freedom. And believe us: we move just as comfortably on the water as we do on land.

But this time, speed isn’t the goal.

Nor is time.

Nor is performance.

But rather, experiencing Lake Balaton to the fullest. 💙

When the sun is no longer scorching and is sinking toward the horizon, that’s when you’ll truly feel what a special place you’re in.

On the water.

In silence.

On a board.

Alone with yourself.

It’s no coincidence that this event could be one of the most memorable experiences of a summer at Lake Balaton.

🕒 Meeting point: Sajkod Beach at 6:00 p.m.

⏳ Program duration: Approx. 2 hours

🛶 Distance and difficulty: Approx. 4–6 km

If you’d like SUP instruction, let us know in advance, and we’ll help you get comfortable with this fantastic sport—whether a few days or just a few hours before the event.

(Currently, only 4 SUPs are available, so spots will be assigned on a first-come, first-served basis.)

The event will be canceled in the event of a Level 2 storm warning.

The most important water traffic rules to keep in mind:

🚩 You must be at least 14 years old to operate water sports equipment and boats independently,

🚩 Water sports equipment and boats may travel no more than 1,500 m from the shore if there is no storm warning

🚩 Life jackets must always be worn on water sports equipment; on boats, they do not need to be worn but must be stowed.
