SMASH by Meló-Diák Beach Volleyball Community Program, Round 2

SMASH by Meló-Diák Community Beach Volleyball Program Continues! The registration portal is now open for those who wish to compete. Everyone is welcome, from kids to seniors. In addition to the volleyball matches, there will be opportunities to learn the basic movements of the sport, with the help of trained instructors. As part of the accompanying program, visitors can also try their hand at cornhole and play on the park volleyball court. A DJ will provide the authentic summer festival atmosphere all day long. Saturday, July 25, 2026

• Open Men’s Doubles – maximum 16 teams
• Open Women’s Doubles – maximum 16 teams

Sunday, July 26, 2026

• Mixed Doubles – maximum 24 teams
• Beach Trio – maximum 8 teams

Beach Trio makes its debut this year as a brand-new category at SMASH, where teams of three AMATEURS can test their skills on the sand. We are accepting entries exclusively from amateur, unregistered players, with a simple set of rules that will be explained on-site.

Arrival and Registration: teams must arrive at the venue between 8:30 and 8:45 a.m., where they will have the opportunity to pick up their SMASH starter kit. The competition begins at 9:00 a.m. We cannot accommodate late arrivals.

• Entry fee: (bank transfer only)
• Doubles categories: 8,000 Ft/team
• Beach Trio: 12,000 Ft/team

The entry fee includes: participation in the competition, beach admission, and a starter kit consisting of refreshments, nutritional supplements, fruit, and a SMASH gift. Information required for registration: Registration deadline: July 24, 2026.

• Space is limited, so we recommend registering as soon as possible
• We will notify you via email regarding the success of your registration. Please note that the confirmation is sent automatically and immediately after you submit your registration, but it becomes final only after the payment request we send has been paid.
• Invoices are not sent automatically; we will send them to you via email
• You have 24 hours to make the payment. After the payment is made, you will receive the invoice. Once this is done, you are guaranteed a spot in the round
• We accept registrations on a first-come, first-served basis. If a category fills up, we’ll register additional applicants as a team. During the first 24 hours after registration opens, only residents of Balatonalmádi may register.
• If you wish to cancel an accepted registration, you may do so free of charge until the end of the registration period.

Rules: Beach volleyball rules apply to the matches; however, since this is an amateur tournament, we would like to draw your attention to a few additional rules:– receiving a pass while touching the basket and attacking while touching the basket are not permitted— Touching the basket is permitted only when passing the ball— if a pass made after touching the basket crosses into the opponent’s half, the point goes to the opposing team—all basket touches are considered a touch error. This year, we’re not just crowning champions; but we’ll also select the most successful players in both the girls’ and boys’ divisions! Be #THE BEST OF LAKE BALATON
