Movement Brings Us Together, Community Keeps Us Connected—A Community Movement Program Spanning All Age Groups—Ballet-Based Movement Development Classes and Dance for Preschoolers and Elementary School Students

Exercise Brings People Together, Strengthens the Community

A community exercise program for all age groups in the Eastern Balaton region.

The goal of the program series is to encourage regular physical activity, to promote an active lifestyle, and to strengthen community ties. As part of the program, regular music-and-dance-based exercise sessions are held in Küngös and Balatonakarattya, which are suitable for people of allage and athletic background the opportunity to exercise, unwind, and enjoy social experiences.

During the sessions, participants can choose from a variety of exercise options, including ballet, aerobics, Zumba, ballroom dancing, and folk dancing. These programs contribute to the development of motor coordination, body awareness, and a healthy culture of physical activity, while providing a sense of community and a recreational experience.

The programs are primarily aimed at kids, youth, adults, families, and local communities living in the Eastern Balaton region. No prior sports experience is required to participate.

The programs take place at indoor and outdoor venues appropriate for the type of activity, including public spaces, sports fields, and other suitable outdoor locations.

The program is organized by Talentum Student Center Association as part of its “Movement Connects, Community Endures — A Community Exercise Program Spanning All Age Groups,” as part of the Veszprém-Balaton European Region of Sport 2026 program series, with support from Veszprém-Balaton 2023 JSC.
