Three days of sports, fun, and community on the shores of Lake Balaton
Lake Balaton Belongs to Us! was created so that people living in Tihany and the surrounding area could rediscover the and experience that Lake Balaton is not just a sight to behold, but can also be an active part of everyday life.
Over the course of three days, under professional guidance, you can try:
- Stand-up paddleboarding
- Kayaking
- Water sports equipment
- Hiking
We also have programs and workshops related to a healthy lifestyle. The event is open to all age groups. No prior experience is necessary; as we have designed the programs so that both beginners and active athletes can find the right form of exercise for them.Our common goal is to rediscover the opportunities offered by Lake Balaton, strengthen local communities, and spend three active, experience-filled days together by the water. Location: Blue Lavender Stage, Tihany, Lepke Street Date: June 14–16, 2026. The event is FREE!The program is made possible with the support of the Veszprém–Balaton European Sports Strategy 2026 Program. Let’s meet at the shore, because Lake Balaton is ours too!
