Sports and the Art of Dance Come Together at Veszprém Movement Festival

What makes this festival unique is that it brings the worlds of sports and dance and brings them closer to the kids. The kids thus not only encounter these differentforms of movement, but they can also try them out for themselves. A single movement, a series of exercises, or a new challenge can easily spark an interest in a particular sport remain part of their hobbies even after the event is over.

This is what makes the program so special: the emphasis is not on competition, but on discovery. Kids are free to explore which form of movement resonates most with them—whether it’s the precision and elegance of ballet, the spectacular routines of artistic gymnastics, rhythmic gymnastics’s rhythm, or synchronized swimming’s unique world.

Olympic champion gymnast Krisztián Berki will also be arriving in Veszprém at ActiCity as a guest of the event, and meeting him can be a special experience for young people and may also inspire them to more boldly try out a new form of exercise.

The event is thus not just for kids, but will be an occasion where parents too, can share in the experience as their kids discover new forms of movement. After all, finding a sport often involves not only physical activity but also, a sense of accomplishment, and self-confidence.
